Conference registration – 3rd Floor outside the Phoenix Ballroom
Hotel information is available here. The hotel is 4 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. A car is not needed. You can take the Phoenix Light Rail or a car service. Note about your hotel room. If you do not show up at the hotel on the first night of your reservation, your entire reservation will be canceled. If you are planning on coming a day late be sure to let the hotel know.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
The entire schedule will be in the conference app. That is where you will find the most up-to-date information. If you are someone who likes to have a paper schedule, please print the schedule before you come to Phoenix. We will not have copies on site.
EXTENDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES (ELO)
You can add an ELO to your registration. Log-In and change your registration or contact jhahn@cfha.net. Information about the ELOs is available here.
ATTIRE
Attire for the conference is business-casual. Temperatures in meeting rooms will fluctuate so we recommend dressing in layers with a light sweater or jacket for optimal comfort. Phoenix is still HOT! It will be in the 90s during the day and 60s at night.
REGISTRATION & INFORMATION HOURS
Please check in at the CFHA Conference Registration Desk to retrieve your name badge.
With over 700 registrants, to keep things moving and to space people out, we are doing things a little differently this year. Registration will be in the Phoenix Foyer on the 3rd floor of the Sheraton. Once there, you should find and pick up your badge. If you have any questions or want the “Info Spiel” just ask the staff.
Registration Questions? Within the mobile app you can find the answers to many Frequently Asked Questions regarding registration. We have a registration desk that will be staffed during the entire conference. Feel free to stop by any time to ask a question.

Please pay your balance in full before arriving at the conference. Your registration will take longer if we need to process payments onsite.
BRING A WATER BOTTLE
If you normally carry a water bottle, bring one to Phoenix. The Sheraton has water refill stations. Help us save on wasted plastic.
NEWCOMERS ORIENTATION ON THURSDAY
If you’re new to CFHA and the Annual Conference, we invite you to join us for the Newcomer’s Orientation & Networking at 11:15 AM to learn more about CFHA and get tips on how to maximize your conference experience.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Information regarding Continuing Education is available on our website here.
CANCELED SESSIONS
Some sessions have been canceled from our original schedule. They will not show up on the Schedule-At-A-Glance or in the conference app.
CONFERENCE MEALS
Coffee is only offered for two hours in the morning by CFHA. For other caffeine fixes, visit the coffee shop on the first floor of the Sheraton.
Lunch is included for conference registrants on Friday and Saturday.
The receptions on Thursday and Friday have a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres. Dinner is not provided during the Conference. We encourage you to explore Phoenix with your CFHA colleagues. Area brochures and maps will be at the registration table.
Note: The Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team are in the playoffs. The stadium is just ½ mile from the Sheraton. Plan for busier restaurants before the games.
If you have special food requirements, you must let us know prior to the conference. If you have not already done so go into your registration and mark any dietary or other special needs. We can’t make changes less than a week before the conference. If you indicated that you have dietary needs you will have a colored ticket with your badge that will be used to get your special meal. Instructions are on your meal ticket.
EXHIBITORS
The CFHA Exhibit space will be located in the Phoenix Ballroom Foyer, near conference registration. Plan to take time to visit the exhibits.
GROUP MEET-UPS
Group Meet-UpsThursday Night – On Thursday, 10/19, during the reception, from 5:30 to 6:00 some groups will have meet-ups allowing you to connect with people at the start of the conference. Look for the people holding signs for the group you are interested in. If you are interested in a meetup stop by registration to see where the group is meeting or be the first person and pick up the sign.

Poster Walks
During the poster exhibition and happy hour reception on Friday, October 20th, two members of REC Leadership will each meet with a small group of interested participants to lead a guided tour of between 4-5 posters to talk with presenters and discuss their findings. Each walk will have a theme. Please see below for a description of the four poster walks, and click here to sign up for a slot if you are interested in joining!
Poster Walk # 1: “Integrated and Interdisciplinary Approaches to Clinical Health Psychology Related Concerns,” led by Dr. Jeff Goodie
This poster walk will include five stops at posters that relate to interdisciplinary approaches to treating health-related concerns in primary care, including chronic pain, type II diabetes, and hypertension. Meet at the first poster, “Step Forward Integration,” at 5pm.
